Sheki Masterplan

Similar to the Basqal project but of a bigger scale, the masterplan of the ancient town of Sheki was another exciting experience for MB Architects. The main goal was to create a touristic route through the streets and landmarks of Sheki, to establish and facilitate transportation solutions in certain areas, to introduce restoration and regeneration, to provide street urban designs including signage, furniture, lighting and much more. The team presented outstanding architectural design solutions, but also closely cooperated with research departments to remain respective of the town’s historical features.
